Advent Book Study with Deacon Dan BrahierSign up for one of our book study times with Deacon Dan that will take place on Wednesday evenings during the Advent season in December. The book will be "Christmas at the Nativity" by Pope Francis, taking a closer look at the nativity scene first introduced by St. Francis of Assisi. It includes a collection of writings, homilies, and other thoughts about various figures that are either included in a Nativity Scene or associated with it, such as shepherds, angels, wise men, the Holy Family, the star, and even King Herod. Each figure is presented with short reflections on how to pray during Advent to prepare for the coming of Christ.All participants who register by Friday, November 22 will receive a copy of the book free of charge. Anyone who wishes to join the study after this date will need to order their own copy of the book.
